- 刘晓娟,研究员,博士生导师。2006年获北京林业大学学士学位,2012年获中国科学院植物研究所博士学位。2013至2016年先后在瑞士苏黎世大学和美国马里兰大学进行博士后和合作研究。2019年入选中国科学院青年创新促进会,2022年获国家基金委优秀青年科学基金资助,2023年入选中国科学院青促会优秀会员,2025年获国家基金委青年科学基金A类资助。主要从事生物多样性与生态系统功能及修复研究,在Nature Ecology & Evolution、PNAS、National Science Review、Nature Reviews Biodiversity等期刊发表论文80余篇。曾获中国科学院青年科学家国际合作伙伴奖、梁希青年论文一等奖等荣誉。担任浙江钱江源森林生物多样性国家野外科学观测研究站执行站长,北京生物多样性科学研究会秘书长,Journal of Plant Ecology副主编,Journal of Ecology、生物多样性、植物生态学报等期刊编委。

主要从事生物多样性研究,聚焦于生物多样性与生态系统功能和修复的关系和机理研究。基于大型野外多样性控制实验、天然林大样地以及全球数据集,主要研究:
1. 植物物种、遗传、功能等多维度的多样性对生态系统功能的时空影响和机制
2. 多营养级互作对生态系统多功能的影响
3. 植物功能性状的形成过程和时空格局
4. 森林生态系统的恢复机理
